Citizen Kane

This movie is often regarded as the best film ever made, and I think the movie really deserves it considering the circumstances at such early stage.
Well, what makes Citizen Kane so great? There are plenty of reasons, basically the movie has all the ingredients to achieve the greatest movie.

Director and actor, Orson Welles was a genius. I said this simply because he made this masterpiece film. His idea, directing, screenplay, performance is remarkable. Though, he never really achieved anything better than that. But damn, he already made a classic film that will last forever. Besides the film, he was also brilliant in other fields, like radio, theatre, tv. In fact, he was so successful with money and fame, that he almost ended up just like Citizan Kane.

About the cinematic techiques used in the film are so classic. Make-ups, camera angles, settings, everything was perfect. The dialouges are great as well. I think the idea to use newsreel obituary and "Rosebud" to unfold a man's story is really clever. The list can goes on more than this, but all I wanna say is that this film is a perfection.
