The Church @ The Zoo 28/Nov/09

oh... what can i say... I was blown off by their live performance.
I feel ashamed that I haven't been their fans for long.
but they have been around for bloody 29 years already...

even though, I don't know many songs, but they're amazing!
the guitar is just amazing... the solo... oh man!
peter is crazy! marty looks like homeless guy, but can he play!
steve is just great!

the opening track, Tantalized is...a sonic explosion, fucking kills me.
the slow-burning Block and Day 5 continue the familiar sonic walk, which ignites again with the lightning, 12-string-propelled NSEW
in the middle of the set, they cover back Smashing Pumpkin's Disarm
You Took, the psychedelic superjam, peter just emitting shards of freestyle noise from his white/beige Fender.
with no introduction of this song, Under The Milky Way roll out and everyone sings along
the set ends with ever-serpentine Reptile.
follow with two encores consisting another 5 songs.

they're definitely underrated musicians.
they are truly Australian guitar legends!

thank you, sundance.
