A Taste of Honey (1961)

"I'm not sorry and I'm not glad." "Oh well, the dream's gone, but the baby's real." I watched the movie because of the Smiths.
According Morrissey, This Night Has Opened My Eyes was based on this movie. Even some of the lyrics were quotes directly from the play. So I went to find the movie.

It was originally a Broadway stage play by Shelagh Delaney in 1960.
Tony Richardson directed the movie and put in on the big screen.
I really like the story. I like the way the movie tells the story.
Including homosexuality, pregnancy, single-parented family, love, friendship.
Just a great film.
