the one thing i would complain about this mini-album is that it's too short. only 7 songs! however, it showcases the songwriting talent of ms van etten.

my indie-pop album of the year. it makes me happy whenever i put this on. sweet voice and sweet melodies!

to be honest... i think their singles (including b-sides) are better than the album. but "you stopped making sense" is so fucking good, i hope they do put out that single too.

i'd call it a great comeback. they sound different, more modern, so? this is still the omd i love.

c-86 album of the year? probably, there're not many albums like this now. it's really refreshing.
